Ok guys, I never heard of Ball watches until I joined this group. I did some looking today and was wondering if the dials glow all night long or if it fades like others? I love the luminosity of these watches.yourock.gif Next, who has the best deals and selection on these watches? I do not pay retail if I dont have to. Call me cheap. Most jewelers give 20 t 30 % off retail. I found a model I like and could possibly afford. Thanks, Scott

The tubes are supposed to glow brightly for 25 years. At first you won't notice their glow as they don't torch like lume, but they are highly legible in low/no light and stay that way. What's got your interest??

That is just too COOL! cool10.gifI love that lume! I am definitely going to save up for one. Hopefully have one by spring. I am glad I found this group. I would have never heard of all these other cool watches. I may even sell one of my others to help fund the purchase of a Ball. I will just have to lay off SAH for a while. Just for the record, you can get the self-powered micro gas tube light technology from a number of other watch vendors such as Luminox, Traser, KHS, Smith and Wesson, Nite, Dievas, Uzi, and Marathon. Luminox pioneered the technology in the U.S. market for several years. Now BALL has taken it to a new level offering much higher end automatic models with increasing sophistication in the application of the lights.

I've been reading up on ball watches too. Really like the Hydro GMT2 version. I'm a nutter for gmt-complications. But I'm gonna stay firm, going for a Fortis first. I've yet to see a ball-watch irl though. But they seem pretty cool.
