Im asking cause Id like to know if this watch is any good, It seems like they could of put a better movement in it to ask for 5000.00 dollars retail?

This guys asking 1100.00?

Im not asking if Invicta is any good, Im asking if that watch is any good?

Thanks and sorry to offend anybody that hates Invicta, and Im not asking to start trouble, Im asking cause I would like to know.

Thanks in advance

It looks to be built well and has a nice bracelet. The Swiss Sellita 26 jewel automatic seems to have proven it's self for I see many high end watch makers even Gevril using it so to me that says allot. :)

If your into dragons that is a plus. I was born the year of the dragon and have 3 dragon tattoos.

Depending on the quality of the stones i have to wonder about a 5k list but $1100 sounds reasonable.

I agree with Skipdawg.  I've seen some higher end Invictas in person and always thought they were really well made.

Hucky, I love you man but isn't this the Jimmy Sniffles special?mistake.gif

That aside, I would have to say the watch isn't worth the asking price as I am not a lover of dragons and have no mystic tie in with them. I suppose if the inlay is made of precious stones you might justify the price and a hand lacquered dial is cool, but I have to remove the dial from the equation since it does nothing but repulse me. JMHO and nothing personal!! After that I am left with a fairly pedestrian SS case with Selitta movement... all Swiss as stated. With that left I would be hard pressed to pay half the asking price as there are a butt load of sweet Swiss watches you can pick up for a grand... especially on the secondary market.

Again, just my opinion and nothing personal!!

There are alot of nice used Omega's I can pick up for a grand, but watches are an individual thing and if it floats your boat......

As far as the Selitta movement, I think we will find that they will be one of the movement producers that will come to be well known after ETA stops selling to companies outside Swatch in the next couple of years.

As one of those Invicta "Haters" (who owns a few good ones)...here is my problem with purchasing any Invicta for more than a "throw-away" price; their QC and Customer Service.

If you get one that is not DOA or flawed on arrival, you have a pretty good watch (keeping in mind that it still bears the much tainted Invicta branding), but if it come flawed, you will go through endless frustration in your attempts to get Invicta to make good on your purchase.  Simply put, they have nothing but total disdain for thei customers.

That said, while the design is a little "gimmicky" for me...it is beautiful!  Go into it with both eyes open.

Huck...1st off you need to stop with this msrp/retail price thing cause it is all BS and all the experienced WIS know this!mistake.gif....2nd that watch is selling NIB on Slop for $1299. with 5 value pays and has a Selitta SW200 in it(and you all know how I feel about this cloned movement).....so imho I would say No it is far from a good deal :D

Whoa, easy men

Im just quoting the seller is all, I had no idea what it retailed for, I was just asking for somebodys knowledge on this model is all, It struck my fancy in a few ways, the Size number 1, the jewels or lack of 2nd. I had no intention of buying it, it was just the first time I have seen something like that and I wanted to get an honest price quote from the mass's so if I see something like that in the future I will have some back ground of knowledge on it.

The Movement didnt seem right for the price.

I asked cautiously cause I know the deal here with Invictas, some like, some do not.

I have 5 invictas that are in need of service, but I dont dare waste the efforts.

Thanks for the input.

Huck
