You cant go wrong with 30 day return policy as, far as the watch goes well it seems to be a nice looking watch and if that is your style (meaning you wont regret buying something like that later then finding out you cant recover your money) then by all means jump on it. Im sure there are some watches in each of our collection that others of us dont care for and vice-verse. Ask yourself would this be something I would wear many times or just for an occassion? Then throw it in the box never to be seen again or something that I would/gotta have..................? Another thing is if you wait awhile longer im sure you will be able to get that watch alot cheaper in the end. JMHO.

PS good luck either way you go remember 30dys is aways an option.

I'd pass, and apply the money to a true dress watch...like a IWC Portofino.

That watch will never hold it value, and if it does have an issue forgettaboutit.......

Hucky, what is it that interests you in that watch?  I don't know what at all would justify that price.  The tsavorite?  hardly.  The movement?  No.  The manufacturer?  no.  The pearl?  no.  The combination of it all.....  Doubt it.  As far as it being a good watch......  Perhaps it is.  I think the better question would be....  Is this a reliable watch for the money, that will keep my interest and if not will I be able to sell it for a decent price?  I don't have an answer for that.  You are gonna have to determine that.  Having said all that.  I'd dig around for a  Fossil.  I imagine they have to have a model that looks similar for 1/12 th the price.

It is obvious that this watch is influenced by the many like models from Corum. My advice would be to look for a used Corum where you will get a truly beautiful movement and a well made watch.

Of course some of the Corum models can cost way more than $1,100. But, if you don't mind a bubble, there a many of those around at good prices with everything you can imagine on the dials. :D:D:D:D:D

Corum Flying Dragon @ $15,000

Exactly! The artwork on this watch did remind me of a corum, I never intended to buy it, I just wanted a fair opinion about it, and you guys have given me many, and I thank you all.
If I see it again in the future I will know what a fair price is.

Thanks

Huck

That aside, I would have to say the watch isn't worth the asking price as I am not a lover of dragons and have no mystic tie in with them. I suppose if the inlay is made of precious stones you might justify the price and a hand lacquered dial is cool, but I have to remove the dial from the equation since it does nothing but repulse me. JMHO and nothing personal!! After that I am left with a fairly pedestrian SS case with Selitta movement... all Swiss as stated. With that left I would be hard pressed to pay half the asking price as there are a butt load of sweet Swiss watches you can pick up for a grand... especially on the secondary market.

Again, just my opinion and nothing personal!!

Okay, now I get it, Jimmy Sniffles, I wasnt getting it at first, I thought you were calling me a sniffler.
Thats funny now that I get it.

Huck
