I was up late last night and I e-mailed him asking if I could buy the lume face ..... I got no reply so I am guessing he will only sell the pair

I thought about it when the price was $895. I have a personal policy to walk away if the price goes up the same day much less a hour after I inquire. Still a good deal just not my game.

I think this guy was selling a black dial a while back on WUS, and when I emailed/PM'd I got no response.  I might have the wrong person though.

I agree, its a little odd to raise the price - if anything, if one underestimated demand, the item can be withdrawn, and each watch listed individually at a higher price.

Still even the new price is reasonable for what a single Sea Angler usually brings in (usually $500-600).  These are the Swiss Made ones too, with slightly better lume than the orange and black dial (although all the normal Sea Anglers have dim lume compared to the supercharged 3T version).

Hey guys i didn't mean to step on anyones toes. First no that was not me selling the blackie. Yes after I recieved my rolie i stopped posting, but I have personnel reasons for that. NOTHING about this board. I will deleate the add on that other forum if you guys wish. It will be done tonight. And the reason I jumped the price up=I spoke to oscar a couple days ago, he said the orsa's have been on the cold latley, and with the market as it is, I should put them in low or fair price. But right after i posted I recieved 8-9 emails RIGHT AWAY! I thought jeesch maybe I did put them in low. Again Im sorry that I caused all this mess with one add. Dave from florida.

Dave - my apologies for mixing up the sellers.  It was not you on the black Sea Angler.  Good luck selling these pair - the price is still quite reasonable.

No worries Dave. We miss having you around and you've got every right to ask whatever you want for the Sea Anglers. First time I've seen a price go up, though!face4.gif

Dave you sell your Orsa's for whatever you like...they are your's and Orsa's are in high demand...especially the Sea Anglers!....I don't see anyone balking on a Dreadnought selling for 4 times what they cost (and in no way am I comparing the 2 as watches of the being the same grade)  Enzo's selling for profit by those who join here to take advantage of the discounts and then disappear!....not to mention no one bit on trading their SS Kenzo for a Breitling XL...mistake.gif

Dave is one of the early members here and his standing is stellar as a member and as a good guy who came to me before posting anything....I mentioned it seemed like every WIS is unloading right now and I see it on the sales forums which are loaded with few deals imho....my thought was economy....if Dave would have listed these watches seperate at $475. each,,,,they would be gone instantly and this thread be over...lol!...buy with confidence from Dave!hand6.gif

That's what I was thinking too, I see alot of people parting with some nice stuff.
I hope the economy keeps on chugging along.

Oscar Thank you for the kind words. I thought I really hurt you guys by what happened. It never occured to me that 950 was out of the ball park for two orsa's with the same #'s 39 of 50. That's like 475 for each. I thought that was a good price. Especially since I recieved so many replies all at once within 15 min. of posting. That was for the 895.  So I said maybe I was wrong, I thought bumping up $55 wasn't that much. Oh well live n learn. And boy do I do that alot with my three kids. Buy the way, who did I sell that Alba to?i think I may want that back LOL Again.
