My point is that I have spent a lot of money on watches, and here is a movement from a Seiko Watch....I am starting to fall in love with the Grand Seiko's

I don't blame ya they are nice. When you have some spare time do a image search for Citizen, Orient and Android movements to and even some of the Chinese movements are looking really good. Many Asian movements are very under estimated in quality.

No changed mind here, I have always known Seiko made top quality stuff.


They just don't sell it to Americans.



Looks like a Flightmaster to me.

The same movement is in the new Orient Mechanical Chrono too.

I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A SEIKO AFICIONADO, TH THE CHAGRIN OF SOME...BUT YOU DON'T GET THAT BIG FOR THAT LONG WITHOUT HAVING HIGH STANDARDS OF DESIGN, PRODUCTION AND SERVICE!!!

I agree with Foster as no one has ever doubted Seikos quality but the Credo,Grand Seiko and King Seiko luxury lines are not made for U.S distribution....the Spring Drive was the 1st luxury Seiko offerred in the U.S in the $3200. to $3500. range....the aforementioned will cost you considerably more with no AD support,repair centers nor parts availability in the U.S.watch2.gif
