As some of you may remember I recently bought the triton,
Which I absolutely love. I live in Israel & a friend brought it for me from NY because of the high taxes here. well as it happens it ran a bit fast & needed To be regulated so I sent Debaufre an e-mail about that.
They wanted me to send it to Germany, but I was afraid that when the watch will be back here I will be forced To pay taxes for it, so e-mailed them back & asked if they had any other suggestions.
They replied and said that they will refund me 50$! So I could fix it here in Israel!
Im sorry for the long letter but here in Israel the customer service is lousy & I am still amazed That they didn’t tell me that this is my problem…i wish that it was like this here...

DeBaufre/Steinhart CS/QC is stellar and one of the best I have ever dealt with myself....it is always nice to hear when a watch manufacturer steps up and backs their product with good old fashioned red carpet treatment!....Congrats Tamir and I hope you have a watchmaker locally who can take care of the regulatinghand6.gif

No...this post is perfect.  It is always great to hear that a company has taken the extra step to make a customer happy.  I have only 1 Steinhart (Debaufre), the MACH 1 and have had no personal experience with them, but I have heard great things about them. hand6.gif

Congratulations Tamir. It's always good to hear a story like that. The one thing I keep hearing about Debaufre/Steinhart, is that their CS is  top notch. I don't own anything of their's, but it is nice to know that when I do, if their's a problem, it'll get taken care of with no hassles.

I would'nt mind the 2-seconds. Is it new? They tend to settle in after a break in period.
