I started my watch collecting with Invicta I have 4 and my wife has 3. Then i bought a Zodiac and a Hamilton. The build quality, fit and finish on the Invictas is just not even close. I would never buy another Invicta. Thats just me though. If ya like buy it. |

You would think invicta would come up with a better box then the same old standard one. Since they want so much $$ for it. I'd pass. I can think of some other better brands to spend that kind of $$ on. To me invicta = cheap. No customer service, and at one time they could not even get thier own logos straight on the watch face! |

Hucky I think Invicta can make a good inexpensive watch but fails when it tries to build in perceived quality. Invicta = crapshoot and most of the SA watches don't do a thing for me... this one included. But that's just my opinion. |

Thanks Men I too often fall back on the Quality of Invictas and remeber that I have 3 broken ones here that will never be fixed, dont feel like going through the nightmares of customer service as I have read. Its not a watch that I wanted to buy, its just nice to know what models are good and what are bad, plus I like the looks and the size of it, cause I like Tank like watches. The major problem with Inv. is the companies that they choose to do the production and there lack of quality control. The after the sale service sucks, or is "hit and miss" a commonly used Internet term for a major loss of consistency in there ability or willingness to repair the defective products. One other thing to remember with Inv. is that even on the best of days they do not warranty there bracelets past the point of sale. |

This looks ike an Invicta 'homage' to the Baume & Mercier 1000m diver. If you sare willing to spend the $600 for this; perhaps better save for a few months or weeks and get the real thing, which can be had for $1200-1500 |

Alessandro is right save up that $1200-$1500 which will get you an used Omega Seamaster Automatic rated at 1000ft. with external helium escape valve. There is no such thing as "Cheap and Cheerful."
