Enlighten us a bit on your dreamer. What year is it, movement, etc. Does it have a history that is important?

The $7,800 cut off was a limit that I had set because there has to be a fine line between a watch that is tasteful and elegant-than wearing something that is all show and no substance (Breitling Chronomat with diamonds and a Mother of Pearl Dial).

However, not everyone is into Bling unless your music taste is Hip Hop.

Some of us,perhaps many of us grew up listening to Jethro tull, Led Zeppelin,
The Grateful Dead,The Beatles...etc.  I mean you can still listen to Iggy Pop and The Stooges with all your heart's content while wearing your prized IWC Ingenieur.

I still listen  to Led Zeppelin and The Ramones from time to time, while I'm wearing
my 1948 Lord Elgin Curvex on a gold expandable bracelet.

You can have as many watches as you want,if your budget is willing.

Have fun and enjoy that dream watch that you've always wanted.

Simon

Sorry I've just realized that both the Corum Bubble Dive Bomber and the Bubble
Shark has the same dials. I tried to download the image earlier, but it created too much confusion.

I am with Pax, if its a dream then there is no limit as it is out of my reach.  If I really wanted to blow 8g's on a watch I probably could do it with a little (or alot of) discipline.  So, here is my dream watch.  The Richard Mille RM005-FM.  I dont know what it costs but I know its alot.:)  The green and yellow would work just fine while I am on my big JD.woohoo.gif  (thats John Deere for you city folk);)

YOU STILL CANNOT PUT A LIMIT ON MY DREAM.

And equating bling to hip hop is so obvious...

I listen to hip hop a plenty.

I saw a few Dead shows. Oh 109 give or take a few from 1981 until the end.

As for Iggy. I got into a fight with him in 1988 in Madison, WI. You can read Alvin Gibbs' completely inaccurate description of the events in his book Neighbourhood Threat.

And 7800 can be your number, Simon. Bling costs more but so do many others with no bling. How about this IWC? Seller is asking $9500 on a watch with a much higher list.

Don't think that watch is blingy in the slightest and it exceeds your limit even selling on the secondary market. There is a Minutemen song regarding dreams. It's titled, "Dream are Free..." Do ya' know it?

If it is a dream watch there can be no limit for dreams are limitless.
