About the Jaeger-LeCoultre: Case: Solid 18K Yellow Gold Two Piece Case Signed Inside LeCoultre Co, Swiss and Numbered 1947. All Proper 18K Hallmarks. Gold applied 12,6 with gold JLC logo at 12. Dial is signed "Jaeger-LeCoultre" with Swiss Made below the 6. Movement: Jaeger-LeCoultre Cal.R 818/C Swiss Made manual wind JLC, Fab Suisse and Numbered. 1654098. Thanks dad. WOW that is one classy vintage piece. At 14 I think my dad gave me a Timex and then for graduation a Seiko. Both long gone. :? That is one to hold onto for sure. Thanks for sharing. ;)

Yea skip io know what you mean i think it was a timex I got at 14 but back then it was a hand cranker, wish i still had it. Very nice watch simon, I agree a wrist shot and what is the dia. on it.

I gave Jaeger Le-Coultre back to dad along with the Universal Tri-Compax and the IWC. Those watches where part of his collection--I later started my collection with 1930's-1950's Lord Elgin,Walthams,Bulovas,Gruens and Hamiltons. Which I later sold.
