Good choice!  I've never had an Alpha but I seems people always have good things to say about them.  Looks nice.

Never had one either but I like the basis for this homage. I hear they are sometimes pretty darn good and sometime not so good but it's just an appetizer...toon1.gif

Good choice! I had one for a short while. The one thing about Alpha's, though, they never feel substantial enough; just not enough weight to them. But, for the price, can't complain!

You'll have fun with that watch. It will be just fine and if you tire of it, you can always pass it on or get a few bucks for it.

Ive had 4 automatic Alphas,  (GMT, PO, Jump hour and Daytona), liked em all and only got rid of them when I decided to
"downsize and upgrade" my collection.  Did better with them than any other brand
in just about breaking even.

My GMT coke bezel probably had that same movement.  Very accurate and trouble free if a little
slopppy to set.  Dont get it wet either.

You will like it and have fun with it but it may make you question spending 100x more
for another brand.
