Digging this up from the grave LOL. Kinda thinking about this version: I really like the 70's vibe on this one, and how can you go wrong with blue, orange, and white? Found 'em at a few places for around $275. Under $200 and I'd have to bite. How do you guys feel about the quality/finish of these? |

I hear ya. While I appreciate the easy set-and-forget nature of my quartz pieces, they are missing the soul and coolness factor I find in my mechanicals. I really prefer an auto movement. Quartz vs. hand-crank is a little more of a toss up. I am not really that much into chrono movements in general...I am starting to really appreciate the elegant simplicity of an uncluttered dial. But something about this one just speaks to me. Not sure if there's the substance necessary for a long-term relationship, but might be fun for a while. ;) |
