I'm thinking of getting a Debaufre Aircraft-8 and Ocean 1. I know several 3T members have experience with this brand. What do you think of the fit and finish? How are the lumes? The brand has a good reputation so I'm sure I won't be disappoitned. Thanks for your input.

I have a few and I personally am very happy with them and with the customer service as well, no complaints here. I have never studied the Lume though, sorry.

Cause I have not worn any of them at night

They are nice watches in my  opinion

I think they have several nice watches. I have wanted to add both Steinhart & Debaufre watches to the collection for some time now. I have some of both on my wanted watches list that always seem to get back burnered for some other deal that pops up. I have heard many good things about Debaufre watches and their customer service is said to be top notch. ;)

Do I remember correctly that Steinhart changed its name to Debaufre?

Steinhart USA changed its name to Debaufre, the German company is still called Steinhart.  I have the Nav-B, Aircraft-8 and an Ocean1 GMT and love all of them. The lume is best on the Nav-B...

No experience although the Debaufre GT keeps sticking in the back of my mind. I have heard nothing but glowing reports on their CS which to me is a biggie!!.

I'd buy the Steinhart branded ones instead.  Mainly because I can't say "Debaufre"..

I have one of the Steinhart MACH 1 watches with the DD2020.  The piece is fantastic; well made, great F&F, accurate, "beefy", 1st class all the way.  The best thing I can say about their Customer Service is that I have never had to deal with them because I've never had a problem, but reports are that they are outstanding.
