Love these watches. The minute details are really impressive. Love the dial work on all of the Poljots. Delicate and surgical instrument type precision.  Size too is great at 38-40mm it really has that classic appeal. My only improvement would be less crown/winding resistance.  A few blister on the thumb but hey, I love these Russian Chronos. hand6.gif

They are sweet. I have this one and enjoy it allot less winding resistance than some of my other Russians.

That crown appears to be bigger. That may help a lot in the winding dept. Not sure though.

Nice Russian you got there!

Mine has about a 7mm crown. Crown size and type can make some difference. I have a harder time with those Onion style crowns below 6mm in size. :) LOL :D

Those are certainly attractive watches guys.  How's the fit and finish on the Russian brands?

I'm really liking them allot. Over about the past 4 to 6 years they have shown allot of improvement IMHO. ;)

Buran has even moved it's factory to Switzerland. :)

Fit and finish is great. They have an elegant/solidity to them. FOr me it's the dial work. I find Poljot to have very nice and classic dials.  The Poljot "Okeah" or ocean is really stunning too.

The Okeah is simply the Russian Navy version of the Shturmanskie that you just got!
