....the Accutron/Bulova Service Center yesterday!  It is a great watch and it was sold at a great price...unfortunately, mine arrived DOA (obviously, shnoop.com never even opened the box as the minutes hand was swinging freely).

Let me stop here and say that shnoop.com was extremely unresponsive to the problem. They were slow in answering my 1st email, gave me 2 options (replacement was not one of them), both at my expense. The never responded to my answer and option choice. My warranty card was not stamped (no response from shnoop on that either)...so there was a question as to the validity of a warranty, if any.

I was able to get the Bulova/Accutron Service Center phone # from the web. I called them and convinced them to repair it under warranty. I paid to send it "USPS Registered & Insured" as was there requirement, and I paid the return shipping and handling fee. The good news is that they were very friendly and very were quick in repairing and water/pressure testing the watch and retuning it (about 2 weeks total). The bad news is they scuffed the case and one of the links.

I do like the watch, but ultimately, shnoop.com's poor quality processes and customer service severely "dampened" the experience. Bottom line: shnoop.com sucks...and price isn't everything (ultimately, it cost me quite a bit more)...it is my last purchase from the very unimpressive and unprofessional "shnoop.com team"!

You can fix the scuff with polish or 2000grit paper if it is a brushed finish. I do it all the time.

Sometimes when the price is sooo good something suffers.....and we all know what that is...I for one will not buy from them as I've seen some other problems similar to Kens...Glad you got the watch back....

In the end, you got s good deal on that chrono.   Sucks that it was not a perfect transaction. Hate when it's anti-climactic.
