Hi 3Ters. Part of my brain (the left, creative side :)) tells me I should look at a rose gold watch for my collection.

Any wrist shots you can share to put my mind at rest on two counts:

* are there any desirable (yeah - I know, waffly term) rose gold non-chrono watches that are affordable (say - waaaaaaaaaay under $1000)  and

* what the heck do they look like on the wrist, and if any of you guys (or girls) have them - what the heck do you wear them with? :?  Shorts? Suits? Leisure casual? Take all your yellow gold wedding rings off? Does fashion etiquette demand that if you wear a rose gold watch you can't wear silver glasses?

No offence meant with any of my questions - I am genuinely interested in your answers cos I can not for the life of me think of how to show off rose gold to its best. Perhaps you think that a rose gold watch only works when every piece of fashion from belt buckle, to glasses frames, and rings - is also rose gold??

Cheers all - IanM

Hi fellas - thanks for the responses.

Canadajo - I like the Movados, but have not got one of them. I hadn't considered the dent-resistance factor thoughmistake.gif

Shady - that Breitling is very very nice. Congrats on that one. My monitor shows it a more yellowy - maybe that is why I am being so careful??? There are so many variations in rose gold (can't call it pink gold, can we!) that the makers have got quite a few styles for us to choose from.

Skip - you dawg, you must have one of everything by now!!  But that Vostok is very much the look I am after. Will check the link and let ya know what I decide.

Thanks men! Your guidance is invaluable. IanM hand6.gif
