Those of you that have a either the 'normal' VX-200 or the 'chrono' VX-200, what do you think of it?  I've seen pics of them around...and just starting to drool over them.

Is the lume 'good' (I've been spoiled by the lume Seiko puts on their divers :D).

Thanks!

At the price I picked up my 3-hand VX-200 for, I'd say I LOVE it!  The fit and finish is very nice and the bracelet is unbelievable!  I do find the dial a wee bit plain and the lume is about average.  Nowhere near Seiko bright.  I've had the coke bezel model and now own the blue.  For some reason the blue one just works better for me.  Overall I definitely recommend the VX-200 if you can get one at or near the Shnoop price!

I agree with Capt. on the Lume. Definatly not Seiko, but overall not bad.

Great watch for the Shnoop price I paid .

My 3 hand keeps great time and the bracelet is one of the nicest I've seen. Perfect size and heft, IMHO.

I have to echo the sentiments expressed here already. Excellent fit and finish, world class bracelet, average lume. Great time keeper. And at the price most of us paid, a phenomenal deal.

But as Tony D has pointed out... it seems to be the nicest watch no one wears... toon1.gif I have the blue and I rarely reach for it and I can't even tell you why not... mistake.gif

I think they are wonderful...picked up a 3-hand coke bezel from snoops (with little problem) and then picked up the coke bezel chronograph from snoops (that was a nightmare for awhile)....sold of the coke bezel 3-hand and picked up a blue one (at even a better price) from WOOT!

The lume, while it doesn't have the initial super brightness of Seiko's Lumibrite, does last well all night long...fit and finish is tremendous...and yes, I do wear mine!  They are a little "blingy", but I have been considering getting the chrono "blasted".

I love my VX-200... it's a quality-built watch! One of the best deals on the market IMHO.hand6.gif

I've got my VX-200 coke on today, and I'm never disappointed.  The bezel action is nicer than my new Korsbek OE, and as previously mentioned, the bracelet is really fine.  Another thing that I've grown to like is the hands and dial.  I think that they chose the perfect hands to suit this watch.

Certainly a solid keeper, in my book.

I own the blue VX-200 and the black VX-200 Chrono and agree with everything said here so far.  One thing I can add is that the Chrono is a thicker and heavier watch.  I find the non chrono to be a little more "wrist hugging" if you would like to wear it with a long sleeve shirt or a suit.

FYI, The blue is also very dark and can be mistaken for black in certain light.

Either watch is excellent and a "core" holding for a long time.

Thanks everyone!  Average lume that lasts all night is okay by me.

Now I just need to hope to find one for sale around the Schnoop/Woot prices when I have some cash in my pocket ;).

I own three VX200's, two 3 hand and I chrono with the Valjoux 7750.  They are topnotch in fit and finish and the bracelets are a work of art.
