Spent yesterday at a pool party and had a blast. Lots of fun with chicken fights and plenty of water wrasslin... Anyway my buddy wears an Invicta Pro Diver in blue with the Miyota movement. when he jumped in I asked him how the Invicta was doing. good her replied. I kept on him about 3 or 4 times and I could tell he was gettin' a bit peeved. Long story short. We were out of the pool kickin' it and I look over at his wrist... fogged crystal in the Invictum. I didn't say a word...toon1.gif

Turns out the crown was screwed down so why would it let moisture in being a 200m "Pro" diver? Oh yeah, Invictum!coyote2.gif

Well, as Corona Gorda (AKA Jimmy Sniffles, AKA, The Grifter) would say," well, you know...200 meters does not mean that it is water proof to 200 meters.  You guys were just wrasslin' too hard!  Yeah, that's it, you guys were wrasslin' with 300 meter intensity.........and I'm a registered gemologist...I took a course on TV!" subtlelaugh.gif

Invictumperfect.gif 200m =  "With this great timepiece, should you ever get caught in the rain... you can safely jog for 200m and rest assured... Your Invictum will still be ticking."

I'll offer this up Pax.  I seem to remember from my diving days that one shouldn't crank down real hard on O-ring seals.  I believe doing so can deform the O-ring.  I believe snug, firm contact with the seal is best.

Mark just be careful in a steam room, high humidity and the fog. No telling what would happen to it then. :D
