I emailed Jon the other day and asked about a bracelet for the Triton.  Today, Jon said they were working on one.  Hurray!  No ETA ws mentioned.

That will be a great option for sure Willie...it will be cool to see it once it is ready, since the triton case is so thick!  I will post info here once we get anything definite...looking forward to it (might have to get one myself! ;) )

Any news or pics for the Triton. As I now have two, I may just have to buy the bracelet as well.

I haven't heard anything new.  I guess I would just keep checking their website or email them.  Maybe they have an ETA.

Check out the blog on Debaufre's website. It has a picture of the metal bracelet.

I agree with you guys that the new Triton is looking good.  The only negative that would be a deal breaker for me is if it's still using the same C1 lume that the previous Triton used.  I owned one and really liked it a lot, but man, the lume was really poor, at least to me anyway.  I sent Jon an e-mail yesterday asking about the lume, but still haven't heard back, so the jury is still out at this point.

OK Bloom - here you go...I replied to you offline as well, but here is what I found...

From my observation, the new Triton has slightly better lume overall.

In particular the orange lume on the quarter hour markers is much better, and the 5 minute hash marks is a bit better as well.  I suspect because it is slighter bolder.

The hands appear about equal, and ironically the old lume pip on the bezel, being nice and thick, is brighter than the flush mounted triangle in the new bezel.

One thing to notice is that the date window on the new Triton is lined in Orange lume and shows up nicely, while the old date window was not lined.

Here they are side by side after a minute or so of charging; the new Triton is on the left, the old one on the right.

Here is a closer shot of the new one...

And a closer shot of the old one....

As far as the bracelet...the good news is that the bracelet is "scheduled" to arrive in about a month.  I have said it before and will say it again; the Swiss make great watches but sometimes not great time, meaning we do not have a firm date yet.

The bad news is that the new Triton has slightly different lugs, and so the bracelet will NOT fit the old Triton.  I don't know if any of you were interested in obtaining one for an older model, but I wanted to give you a heads up.

Chris

I was hoping the bracelet would fit the older version, it is such a nice bracelet.  No matter though, can't wait to see more pictures of the new triton :)

Yes...and hopefully we will have the bracelets available soon!  There are a number of parts to the bracelets, i.e. the bracelet itself, end links, hex screws, tubes, etc and we have most of them in...but we are still waiting on the last couple of pieces.  Very frustratinng, but will let you guys know when they are 100% available!
