Most of you may already know this so please forgive me as I am not up on alot of this.
When I was at the jeweler today getting my new watch sized Iwas talking to the watchmaker about things and we brought up Rolex.  They are an AD for Rolex.  We were talking about the 50th ann Submariner.  I was under the impression it was a LE but he said after a couple of years they are still making them.  He just had one in last month.  why the price increase if it isnt a LE?  He also said the quit teh Tudor line.  I thought Rolex bought Sellita for their Tudor line?  Also while there we talked about me getting the old style GMT II with the coke bezel he has.  He said they will no longer have the colored bezel as they are all black ceramic now.  May have to work out a layaway plan. ;)

I actually just bought the 16610LV (50th anniv. sub) just recently.  Most speculate that they will stop making them when Rolex releases the new SS Submariner soon.  But you are right in the fact that they are definately not LE.  Every AD in AZ that I walk into has one.

Looking around I see that is listed as a special edition or anniversary edition but not a true limited edition.
