The pic below is of the Nivada Grenchen Depthomatic. Except for the external bezel, this is a spitting image of my first dive watch, purchased in 1969, in the Bahamas. I wore this watch for all my diving activities for twenty years. That included dives to significant depths in the Great Lakes, underwater caves and under the ice. The watch held up great except for chips in the aluminum bezel (mine was painted black) and some sort of lines, not scratches, that appeared in the crystal.
