I see the odd tourbillon watch popping up for sale under $1,000 but the vast majority I find are very high-end watches and very limited editions.

Does anyone know of, or have any experience with, a quality tourbillon for under $1,000 ? or under $1,500?

I've only ever held a tourbillon once, and the complication is breath-taking (check the youtube vids, too).

All comments welcome

I have a Samson Watch Co. that was less than $1000 from China that has been trouble free and very accurate.

Thanks, Guys! This watch has the most authoritative "tick" I have ever heard. Not loud but deep and resolute. And a commanding presance at 45mm.

Great read Oscar.  Thanks for putting that back up.  I wasn't around when you posted that the first time.  I do have another question and don't know if it is appropriate to ask here, or maybe somebody could PM me, but I searched for Sampaon and only came up with the college football player...  Any help??  :?  If this isn't ok, please delete. tks
