Well looks like its going to be a nice watch.  Obviously I am very interested Just a question about these. What would the resale be on serialized watches like this a few years from now?  I know timepieces are an investment.  But don't know anything when it comes down to resale values in the future.

This watch will easily sell for $10,000:P

Just kidding.

I wouldn't get caught up in thinking a watch is an investment.  Only a small % of watches will appreciate in value.  But one thing to consider, is that all of my watches are limited productions.  I'm not making thousands of these.

That being said, we are in a truly unique time in the watch industry.  Quality watches, especially automatics, are getting more and more scarce and pricey.   Now I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I strongly feel that I put more value in my watches than you might otherwise find out there.

Here's one piece of advice that I received a while back that I continue to use.  Buy what you like.

Thanks for considering the Cave Dweller.  I look forward to receiving your order.

Keith

No more info than the late 2008 early 2009 time frame as it states above.  When it gets closer I will do all I can to get it before the Holidays.

Keith -

Just ordered a Cave Dweller, Yellow, on your website.  Would like No. 43, please.  This looks like a great addition to your product line.  Looking forward to arrival.  Thanks.

Here's a few drawings of the bracelet, buckle and crown.  All will be embossed with my logo or name.

Keith, When you get the prototypes this month, do you think you will be posting pictures? Just wondering.

No, I'm going to keep them to myself because I don't think actual pictures will help sell the watch.

just kidding, hope you don't mind a little levity this evening.

Of course I will.:) Also, I'm going to give the honor to Oscar who will do a much better job than I will. hand6.gif

The announcement was that they ship the prototype in about ten days.  Yesterday I got word that it will ship "very soon"  I expect confirmation of shipment today or tomorrow? (crossing fingers).

Not from me.  Don't know how.  It never comes out when I try.  As you can see I don't take that good of a picture.  Next week when Oscar gets it I'm sure he will.

Alright, I got a few lume shots from my crappy skills.  They'll have to do for now.  See other post.

Keith,

The pics are great and the watch is incredible. If Oscar's pictures make the Cave Dweller look any better, I may have to take up knitting (or drinking) to keep me calm until I receive mine.

Congratulations on creating a truly beautiful timepiece!

Based on the prototype, do you have any better idea as to when the Cave Dweller will be delivered?

Steve

Keith,

What is the finish on the bracelet and watch?  It looks blasted, but am not sure.

Thanks

Good.  That is my favorite finish for watches.  I think it is the most versatile.
