Actually...I have been wearing one for several hours now...they are interesting, but at night, I find it inconvenient to push the button to light up the "dial"!

There are a total of 4 G-Shocks in the house right now...the one from Shady/PAX (G-3011), a DW-6600 I picked up for my other son and the 2 I just picked up (DW-9052 & G-2900) for the price of batteries!  So there will be one available for me from time-to-time!  woohoo.gif

Ken most of the G's have a smart light. If you hold the light button down until you hear a beep it will then automatically light up when you angle the watch for viewing. Pretty slick, eh?:D

Obviously, you've never been in combat...not only am I not able to hear those typical "alarm beeps" that watches make....I can barely hear my cell phone ring! :D

I busted a G-Shock once while demonstrating how rugged it was! Ate some crow that day.

For years I hated digital watches, then I got into Suunto...fast forward a couple months and now I have 5, a G-Shock Riseman, Casio Pathfinder, Suunto Core (my favorite), Suunto Vector, and Nike Alti-Compass (2nd favorite).
I bought my son a G-Shock for our Scout Camporee trip to Virginia a couple weeks ago.  He hasn't taken it off since hand6.gif

Cheers,
Griff

I don't eat crow...

1) there is no need, and,

2) What's the point!

When I was in the Navy I always noticed that day after all the Seaguls would vanish we would have those little mini chicken drum sticks and breast. Sure tasted like chicken but who knows. :) Crow maybe taste about the same or like duck maybe. LOL :D
