I am having a hard time with getting the pins to go back in my bracelet.  I took the pins out to adjust my bracelet and I went to go put the one pin back in, it just falls out, I have tried going back in the opposite way of the arrow and the same way as the arrow also I tried to look at the pin, to see if there is a fat end, I tried pushing  both ends of the pin in and that is not working.  I have 3 extra pins after sizing and I have tried all 3.  If I wiggle the the bracelet back and forth the pin falls out...?

Sounds like a case of missing collars.

Some of the newer bracelets have the collar in the middle link. Most are just like the Monster's, on the outer link.

Yeah, you definitely lost the collar...

I had the same problem with a Hamilton bracelet. Learned the hard way ;)

I wish I had seen this thread sooner friend!

You have, as others noted, lost the collars.

It's okay, as you can order replacements.  As someone said, some collars go on the center link, but many are on the outside end.

I have had similar problems that the collars fell out and could not locate them. What I recommend is with caution, Since I rarely flip a watch, I bent the pins slightly and then used the rubber or plastic end of a watch mallet, and my problem was solved. The pins have yet to fall out.

I have approximately thirty with two incoming. They are split 60% modern and 40% vintage.

Regards,

Bill
