Thanks for the link, I didn't know that.  I was speaking purely from an aesthetic perspective, it is a diffferent look to the other models, but it is growing on me.  I have never seen a watch with tubes in the flesh, what is the consensus of the brightness of the tubes?

Tubes is funny things.  They're just so consistent!

Conventional lume is MUCH brighter that 1st 5 or 10 minutes.  But a few minutes later as the lume fades tritium tubes compare pretty well.  And after 30min or so the tubes are brighter than the lume.

Two or three hours later there's absolutely NO comparison.  Tubes are WAAY brighter, and they last.. and last.. and last.

Just depends what you prefer.. that initial nuclear glow type lume?.. or the slow but steady, always dependable glow of tritium tubes.

I love them both but would probably go for the black dial.

Love to see a lume shot with those dual tubes on the minute hand.

Id also like to see one on the beads of rice bracelet.

Unfortunately Ive never seen a Doxa in person although Ive wanted one since the 80s.  Whant kept me from snagging a Sharkhunter when they were about $1300 last January.  Dont know about Ti either.
