I've been trying for quite sometime to log-in at 3-T.
It was my own undoing that I forgot my new Password,
however after many futile attempts I suddenly remembered. subtlelaugh.gif

In terms of anything new, there are three new timepieces that I've
acquired in a two day period. One of them is an
American Waltham pocket watch circa.1889.

Movement number: 3983748
Case number: 0198328

The case is stamped Illinois Watch CO. Base Metal and it's stem wound.

The other item is a early 1960's hand wound Wittnauer in 10 kt Gold Filled Top
with Round dial Bow tie with aftermarket gold plated bracelet.

Finally the third watch is a Rado Voyager Ref. 636 32364 from the mid-1970's
in stainless steel with 17 Jewels Automatic. Serial number 19802253.

Along the way to my surprose that  I own a Helbros Sky King dress
watch with sub-second feature inlay with Rhinestone Indices in white dial.
The movement is AS 1130 hand wound.

I still own my Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro Automatic Chronograph,it's
being polished at the head office's workshop.

Hopefully I can post some pics,if I can remember to buy a digital camera.

It was kinda funny because at first I thought
I was banned. It took me a month to find my new
password that I had written on a scrap piece of paper.

I couldn't find that paper,so I typed in every single
password that I thought was right.

Thanks Mark,Teddy and Skip for your kind comments.:D

Hi Simon!

We missed you. So happy you found your password! Please don't lose it again! :)

About that new camera, please be sure you look for one that has a super macro mode for those dial close-ups. Just a digital won't be enough. I just got a new camera because my old digital didn't have that function and my pics came out blurry. Just a friendly suggestion. Good luck with that. Glad you found your way back home to 3T land!

Aloha,

Alina :)

Although no one can see me...I'm blushing from Alina's comments.:)
I'm looking forward in getting my Hamilton Jazzmaster Maestro back friom
the Workshop, however I'm in no rush for it.  At least I have five watches
to keep me company at the moment.:D

I've met some people earlier today that were interested in starting a
Vintage Watch Collector's Club in Vancouver,B.C. to promote and the
use of vintage watches, in some ways it would be a local version of a
camera club, were enthusiasts and collectors get together once a month or so.
To enjoy and learn about each other's timepieces. Which I thought was a:cool: idea.

Cheers,
Simon

Simon, there is an NAWCC chapter in vancouver if they're interested (or maybe you've already mentioned it)  http://www.nawcc-ch121.com

I know our club minutes go to the Edmonton club and maybe Vancouvers too.  Let me know how they are if you attend a meeting.
