Yesterday, afternoon as I was going through the repair price book.
I decided to take measures in limiting the amount of counterfeit
watches being repaired at my store,by increasing the price
of battery and bracelet link adjustment.

The new price of a battery for all fake watches are: $40
Bracelet link removal: $25

It takes 20-30 minutes ea. to work on these worthless products
and it's a waste of time putting together bracelet links that don't
match, especially on counterfeit Breitling Bentley watches.

Cheers,
Simon

Hey Simon, just curious, what do you guys normally charge for a battery replacement and bracelet sizing?

Greetings Nabco,

Regular battery replacement is between $12 and up depending on
the watch. Bracelet sizing is usually $10.

Cheers,

Simon

I wish to thank everyone who have
responded positively on this post.

Fact:

Counterfeit watches fuels Human Trafficking,
money laundering and losses of trade
revenue as much as 7% to various governments.

People who buy counterfeit items need to
be aware of the fact that this practice is illegal.

Taking Action:

Legitimate watch companies spend millions of
Euros and Dollars on Research and Development
on patents,trademarks and movement design.

Buying counterfeit watches is stealing.

We as consumers, must ensure that these patents,
trademarks and watch movements are protected by
buying genuine watches.

Update:

The president of the company that I work
for has agreed to my recommendations in eliminating
the amount of counterfeit watches that enter the
premises. And has supported the idea of a price
increase on the repairs on such items.

Cheers,
Simon
