Hi,

I have been to Maastricht as well, but I did not take any pictures, so thank you Zarith!

It was great to meet Kazim, as he really is a nice guy. Having seen pictures of the Eintausend before, I feared that I would like it even more, when it would sit on my wrist...what can I say, my fear has been confirmed: The Kazimon Eintausend will definetely be my first watch in 2009 and I cannot wait to get it :)! It has an awesome quality and a coherent design (I love the dial). One can easily realize that Kazim has put a real effort into his new watch collection and that he is truly committed to his products. It is these small details as the watch opener tool (what a great idea) and the lettering on the dial, which differentiates his watches from the others, IMHO. He has created an originality which I do miss with a lot of other brands. Oh, and if you only could have had a closer look of that doomed saphire glass on that Chrono prototype...simply awesome! As you can see, I am really convinced with Kazim's products and I wish him only the best for his future!

Nevertheless, there is also credit due to two more nice guys I was able to meet: Poul from Korsbek and Ian from Kremke watches. They went all the way from Seattle and from Australia in order to attend hand6.gif. We had a great talk about their watches, too (which I also liked a lot) . The new Korsbek OE and the black Racing Chrono from Kremke are really yummy ;)! Peter from Costro was another person I was able to talk to, a company I was not really aware of before. Some very interesting pieces, I did find. And then there was Hentschel watches from Hamburg (very classical, but probably one of my exit watches...one day)..so many nice watches, so little money :D!

In a nutshell I can say, that I enjoyed my day in Maastricht a lot, mainly due because of being convinced that there are some great brands around, where the customers still comes first. BTW, I did not get this impression with some other brands which attended, but I really wanted to give some credit to the above mentioned guys/ brands.

best regards

Jan
