Ok we were tired of being cooped up with the snow so decided to go down to the local mall. I stopped in a Precision Time store and they had some neat hommage brand with look alikes for a couple of Bell and Ross and IWC models most were quartz and the name was S____ Italia . Any watch with center second hand the back end of the hand was shaped like a trident. I can't for the life of me remember the whole name. Anybody? |

Thanks guys it wasn't worth the trouble to call the store. I'm sure they are not really Italian watches just using Italia as part of the name. They were big neat looking hommages to Bell and Ross , quartz chronos and non-chronos. Also a couple of automatics with Flieger look. All were about 44-52MM and around $300.00. |

I'm not sure I understand...it is worth the time to ask us to psychically try and figure out the name of the watch you were looking at, but it's not worth the trouble to pick up the phone and call the store? WOW! So, what watch am I thinking about right now?  |

Romano you have to admit that your post is kinda confusing given the amount of info given?....especially about some obscure watch company that makes quartz watches...not much to get so worked up over Buddy imo :) ..as far as farts in the wind there are 2 kind....the kind that is loud enough to be heard and draws great attention !.....and the silent one that just stinks like heck and those involved sheepishly bow their heads as if it never happened....this thread is the latter :D |

Those are pretty cool, especially the B&R look-alikes. I looked, but I can't find any reference to the brand at all on the 'net. Alas, the closest Precision Time is several states away from me and they do not refernece this brand on their website either :( . |

Like I say, I feel lucky, a little bruised up. I was wearing my new SMP, but the one they let me wear while another with all the proper paperwork arrived. I made the exchange that same evening...little do they know the rough day it had. ;) |
