Looking at the picture of it, it does not look like it has tritium. Can anyone verify?

As in tritium tubes? No it doesn't have tritium tubes. I've had the beadblasted grey dial with the blue hands in my possession and it is a cool watch. You got a pic of what you're looking at?

BTW...Welcome to 3T!:D

neither of the Cougars have tritium vials....tritium is just another form of lume used by watchmakers and just so happens to also be used in the tritium viles.....it can be used as a lume paint as well which is the case of the O&W Cougars hand6.gif

No tritium there. On the default design superluminova. ;)

Just had a look at the picture of the Cougar on Gnomon Watches website, then found a better pic at http://www.chronomasters.co.uk. At the 6 position, the dial indicates Swiss Made with a T on either side of the phrase Swiss Made, AFAIK, that indicates tritium on the dial rather than Super Luminova... Gnomon Watches description of the Cougar also claims that it has tritium on the dial, for whatever that's worth. The "T" indication on the dial picture I saw is pretty convincing to me, however....

I believe Mike400 has tritium tubes mixed up with just plain tritium treated hands and markers,so until Mike clarifies what he is talking about as Pax asked in his very 1st reply it doesn't matter much what the replies are imo :?

No he was correct, I was thinking of tritium tubes. I was unaware that there was a tritium paint. My Luminox with the tritium TUBES, is great. I work at night and being in the deark for so long, tritium tubes is the only way to go for me. Any suggestions for an automatic with tritium tubes other than a Marathon watch?
