I wanted to wait & clear with Oscar before posting, but have now done so and am pleased to greet my friends on 3T from The BaliHa'i Project.  This site is one of my personal favorites, and I enjoy the lively discussion here that has led me to many cool new dive watches, particularly those from the many new companies that have been popping up in recent years... 3T has fueled my watch habit, and I'm pleased to introduce my own modest little project with a special offer for 3T folks.  The "BaliHa'i" watch, as you'll see from the specs below, is a fairly robust Swiss 1000m diver's watch... I had a great deal of fun cobbling together some of my favorite aspects of other watches, and then throwing in a little quirk of our own (see the caseback pic below).  I hope that what we've achieved is a solid and reasonably priced tool diver with a little bit of character... please feel free to post, pm, or email me any questions you may have.  As a special "thanks" to Oscar, 3T, and all you folks who have contributed to my own WIS-dom, I've ordered a handful of extra NBR rubber divestraps from Bonetto Cinturini (who IMO makes the finest rubber straps around) in green.  Admittedly, it's more of a military green than the traditional 3T green, but I thought it slightly better suited to the watch... when you place an order, drop me a note with your 3T handle, and I'll make sure to toss one of those straps in, together with free US shipping via FedEx (or a partial credit towards international shipping).  [Update 6/11/09 - we're out of the 3T green straps, but still happy to throw in an extra for our 3T amigos - let us know whether you'd rather have orange, or the 2d style of black strap when you place your order!]

Aloha, and best wishes for this new year,

Chris Cihon

Sadly, no - I've had many requests, but because we made the decision to PVD part of the run very late in the process, we didn't get any PVD prototypes.  Still, we felt comfortable ordering them becaue the factory doing the PVD has done some nice work for others, like O7 and (I think) my buddy Ralf at Benarus.  I do have a couple of shots of a pvd bezel on a stainless case I put together, so will dig some of them up to give an idea.
