I know many of you will hate the idea of a quartz, but a watch phone looks pretty cool to me.

DITTO....not only that, but I'd like to see that thing after it has been banged on a door knob or two! mistake.gif  Crap, they haven't even perfected the Blackberry/Cellphone combo yet.  Everyone I've seen is either a great Blackberry and a POS phone or a great phone and a POS Blackberry.

And then there is the iPhones. My brother has the 2ed gen and his girlfriend has the 1st gen and they still have some issues. I have the LG Dare and it has some issues to work out also. I can just imagine the headaches with that small screan for one.

I actually love it.  I would be all over it during the work week saving my timepieces for the weekend.  However, my guess is it would be more attractive to the business man not so much the soccer mom.  That said, I would still have to carry a blackberry for email...so a bit useless to me and many others I would imagine.

I too would have to carry my Blackberry for emails, and I would not be able to get out of the habit of going to my watch box each morning to decide which one to wear, it is a ritual that I have been doing for years

If it is anything like my Fossil Abacus (wrist top Palm PDA and watch) it will need to be charged frequently.  In the case of a phone, I can't imagine getting too many calls in before needing to recharge, radio/cell transmitters still like to use lots of current.

I love technology, but until battery chemistry really catches up to the ability to create smaller and smaller devices I'll have to pass unfortunately.  I gave up on the Abacus, as useful as it was to me at work, because it needed to be charged as soon as I got home. With heavy use the batteries lasted about 8-9 hours max, and that was just a PDA.  If I worked a long day (frequently as an IT guy), I wouldn't have a watch display by the time I got home :X

Cheers,
Griff
