For me, I have noticed my Tastes in watches has been changing alot, I have been trying to relate it to any changes that have been being made in my life. I have been going to school 5 days a week this year and Im thinking that School has me enjoying very Clean, Simple, Mid-size to Small watches, even some Digital trippy watches. Anybody care to trip? |

It could be age ;) ??? I used to think "no way" to under 40 mm , and even 40 mm was wimpy ...... but a seadweller is my #1 and I love the D Freemonts lately .... I am looking more and more at clean elegant dials ..... a 36 mm vintage seamaster is an awesome watch |

I agree with the trend back to mid size watches. I'm wearing a 39mm vintage Longines today and love the way it tucks under my shirt sleeve. And the d.freemonts at 37mm are pure class,IMHO. |

OK, Guys. Sorry to step on your thread, Huck, but the trip to Hawaii was spectacular. Two nights in Waikiki to start. I bought a ukelele at Bob's Ukelele and rented a car for a drive around the North shore. The waves were not that high for the time of year but found a great restaurant called Ted's Bakery where I had grilled Spam and Mahi Mahi for lunch. The next day, we boarded the Pride of America for a cruise around the Islands with stops on Maui, at Hilo and Kona on the big island, and two days on Kauai. I must have seen at least 100 hump back whales on the trip, rode a bicycle down the volcano on Maui, hit the happy hour at the Napa Wine bar on the ship too many times, and saw the lava oozing into the ocean at night on Hawaii island. And my honey and I got along great for the whole trip. The biggest problem with going to Hawaii at this time of year is that I had to come back. I took my Ball Fireman for viewing in the cabin at night and my G Shock for water play and snorkeling. The 40mm Barcelona is just the perfect size....not to small and not to bulky. 4 is to small and 6 is to bulky.....Audi Engineers form the 70's |

I find myself enjoying smaller watches lately too, after my summer spree with large ABC's. My 37mm HMT's and 36.5mm Zeno have been seeing as much wrist time as anything I have that is 42+mm. Cheers, Griff |

Anything below 42mm looks small to me still. Maybe my eyes are going to hell as I get older, but I like a good-sized dial. But then again, anything larger 48mm scares me. :shock: |

Being 6'2" and 220 lbs, I tend to go for bigger watches. However, I really enjoy my GMT Master II, so that would form the comfort zone on the small side of things. I sold most of my vintage watches because I never wear them due to size. |

I say if you start going under 40 mm for a dress and you do not want to wear bi-focals......then you may have a problem. I am really liking the size of the d.freemont Barcelona...lean and clean...
