I have this old Linden clock that i havenet had running for a while. Last weekend I decided to wind it up and it lost about 10 mins. over the week. From the pic, which way do I turn the screw? Clockwise or counterclockwise? Thanks.![]() ![]() |

At a guess, I'd say clockwise. I'm sure someone will be along to make a correction if I'm wrong.:) |

I didn't catch that initialy, but now that you pointed it out, I see what you're saying. Follow the arrow and if that doesn't work you know what to do. It won't hurt anything if you get it wrong, but I understand wanting to get it right the first time. |

Its' counterclockwise to speed it up and clockwise to slow it down. The arrows point to the +10 -10 seconds per day mark. It appears that it is already set either a little fast or a lot slow! |

You might want to adjust it a little bit at a time just to be safe! |

My favorite part of this clock is the different chimes. |

I'd say that adjustment won't bring it into time. It most likely needs cleaned and lubed to run correctly. |

After over a day since adjustment, the clock is still keeping time. |
