I've got a friend at work who is pretty hot for this watch. Its an Eberhard 8 Jours offered from an eBay vendor for what appears to be a fairly reasonable price. See it here: EBERHARD

A couple questions:

Anybody have any firsthand knowledge of the seller?

Anyone have any opinions on the watch at this price? I am not familiar with Eberhard in general so any thought is a good one.;)

What do you think of the watch?

Nice Swiss waches. About in the right price range for pre-owned. I came close to going for the black dial with gator strap last Spring for about $200 more but changed my mind. No knowledge with the seller I don't do ebay. LOL ;)

There is a used black-faced model without the power reserve with small seconds on WUS for $850. Might be a better buy.

Eberhard has been around a long time, longer than some of the more popular brands. They make real quality watches as well.

I have a Eberhard AD close by if you want me to check the 8 Jours out Mark....and see what kind of $ he is getting for them...Eberhard makes a fine timepiece imhohand6.gif

Seller appears to be solid Mark with the 100% rating.....Eberhard makes a great watch.............I'm not diggin' that one to much, but.......it ain't my money either:D

Thanks for the feedback guys. It ain't my money either and the watch, while nice, is not to my taste. And thanks for the kind offer O, but frankly this guy has plenty of coin and can afford the watch easily.

A great watch, but to me the white dial kinda kills it...especially with the power meter muddying up the clean look.
