Hi everyone!

Trust this finds you well; it's been awhile since I've communicated.  Am pleased to announce that I will be back on Jewelry Television this coming Tuesday night  the evening of March 31st  midnight eastern - 9p pacific.

The big news is what is bringing me back, namely an XO Skeleton show.  And what is setting this show apart is the very aggressive stance that XO is taking on pricing.  Basically if you've wanted to try an XO, or like me looking to add to your collection then this night is a do not miss.  I'm not talking ten or twenty dollars here; this is about serious deep discounts on what in my view was already one of the best crafted watches for dollar spent at the regular price!  party.gif

Will be posting again soon with details, but since I know many of you will be asking; yes, there will be tourbillons!Camera_photos.gi  Not many, but there will be a few and I strongly recommend grabbing one.  This is a TY movement that has been completely reworked by a Swiss trained tourbillon tech, and any part not up to spec was either retooled or a custom built part was installed.  I know of no other watch company offering this level of quality detail at anywhere near this affordable, and that's not even counting the innovation of XO desgin.  cool10.gif

As stated earlier, will post details soon.  It's good to be back, and I do hope you will all be able to join me Tuesday night for this terrific event!

I'm not to into the XO's but their tech is cool They just arn't me. Like the Movado I like them but they ain't me neither. LOL :D

Hay are you going to be making it to Basel 2009? I've always enjoyed your reviews of the Basel event.

Take care Tim. ;)

hi!  thank you for the kind words; it's good to be back and am very much looking forward to doing the show!

XO is very individual; I think that's one of the reasons I like it.  Odd logic to some, perhaps.  Of course the tech is brilliant and that has a lot to do with it as well, as least for me.

At this point I don't think I'll be doing Basel.  For one thing it opens this week and I'm prepping for a new show in a week at the time of this writing.  I've talked of course to many watchmakers and reps over the last month or so and many of them are either reducing their presence or not attending at all, so I suppose if I had to skip one I suppose this would be it.  Will miss it though; always look forward to the experience and the education and info there is both first hand and often first rate.  At least I've got nine of the last ten  ThumbsUp02.gif;  can only imagine how behind the 8 ball I would without that background.  Still, the fresh info would be nice.  Will of course plug into my numerous friends and connections and learn what I can.  watch2.gif

I am glad to hear that you are back on Tim.

I do like the XO's because they are so different then the norm and i have the baracuda furious.

I have missed seeing you, you always provide a wealth of information and knowledge that alot of the on air hosts around lack.

Welcome back and I will be watching tuesday.

Greg

hi Greg!

thank you for the support; it is much appreciated and never taken for granted, I assure you.

Always good to meet a fellow XO fan.  I have a Furious as well, and really like it.  I will mention that if you don't have a Superlative Star, you MUST grab one; they are truly brilliant.  It's without a doubt one of my "go to" watches.

Thanks again!

Tim

With the world economy as it is it dose make since for Basel 2009 to be toned down. I sure would love to make it to a Basel event some day. Would be like a pilgrimage for this WIS.

One thing I find very good besides the tech that goes into the XO is the use of the 904 steel. Maybe one of these days they will put out a design that appeals to me.:)

Will have to try my best to watch the show. The tourbillons sound very cool. Interested in seeing what they have done there. ;)

Finally Found a few picks of the Superlative Star. Which one do you have Tim? the sapphires or rubies? SS or the IP version? and wow the  tourbillion version is sweet too but i do like a moon phase as well.. I will have to show my wife these ones, lol it is how I got my furious. She likes the not so common watches as well.

Thanks again Tim

That is the best news I have heard in a while! ... but damn, I missed the show :( . I hope they keep you on a regular basis. It will be a welcome relief from listening to Jim S. talk about himself and the watch commander mis-pronounce Gevril as ' Gervil' :X . I won't comment on Shawn W. ... I can't watch him.

[ edit]

Oops, just noticed, I didn't miss the show ... it's on the 31st. Time to call the optometrist for an appointment :P . Welcome back Tim!
