Hardest part is bezel... I try and just go around the bezel a full 360 in one direction until it is as uniform as can be.

I find the 3M sponge to be best as it does not tend to leave an "end" spot </< whereas the 2000 grit automotive grit paper does. Perhaps it is due to the sponge  and the gentle lifting of pressure as I am about to come to a stop on the bezel at the 360 degree mark.

The rest is actually pretty easy if you are methodical about it and have a specific stroke for each section on the case e.g. lugs, sides etc.

Hi Craig, if you use the 3M sponge it makes it much easier.  Just go in one direction regardless of where you are on the case. Plot out your moves on each section and don't be nervous. Remember it's all fixable in the end.

Hey guys....would you recommend I do the same polishing method to a steel bracelet? Would any of you have experience with this? It's brand new and came with the watch I just bought. But somehow I think I can make the centerlink shinier and maybe improve the overall look of the watch to make the bracelet sort of integrate with the high sheen of the case. By the way, I removed the steel bracelet and fit the watch with a leather strap instead.

That's a nice watch you have, Eric.

Regards.
