I am curious about a watch that I have come accross...I know it is a Swiss Quartz but I have had no experiences with the Zodiac Brand.  It is a Zodiac Sea Ghost.  I believe that the style is now discontinued as I am not finding much information about this style.  Any information would be appreciated.  Thanks, Tim.

A picture would be helpful Tim but from what little I know and have seen....any of the Zodiac Swiss quartz watches offer fantastic bang for the buck. They have some of the sweetest bracelets that are worth the price of admission on these. If you like the style..I would not hesitate buying it.

Tim, I used to have one of the Sea Dragon line. If the the Sea Ghost is built anywhere as solid, I think you'll be very pleased.

Sea Ghost again is a great watch for the $ in the under $200. category and can be found for as low as $50.....Tim you may want to use the search engine here on 3T and you may find discussion/pics of the watches you have recently brought up....some going back to 06' hand6.gif

Thanks for the information!!  This one is a bit different from the solid SS models that I have seen.  It has a mixed strap composed of leather and rubber.  This particular one has white leather with blue rubber to match the face/dial of the watch. Thanks again, Tim.

actually the Zodiacs from a couple/few years ago may have still fallen under the old Zodiac brand as we once knew it and are slowly gaining some popularity among enthusiasts  watch2.gif

.....when Fossil Group purchased the co. they said they would allow it to carry on it's Swiss heritage and operate on it's own as a seperate entity of Fossil  but from what I have seen lately the Zodiac line has become a more fashion brand like Fossil and the others under that umbrella than the original dive watch heritage we all knew them for...personally I would like to see them head back to the days of the Zodiac Super Seawolf and dive watches of the like that are now hard to find and cost plenty hand6.gif

I think a classicaly styled modern version would be Great. The Seawolf/Super Seawolf are such iconic dive watches.

Tim, after googling around a bit, I belive the Sea Ghost line came out under the old Zodiac ownership rather than after Fossil bought them. You should have a solid timekeeper on your hands.

I got a new Zodiac Speed Dragon for my girlfirend for a bit over 30 Euros from eBay. Considering the price it is a solid, well built watch. Looks especially cool on the white Nato strap. Might get a Zodiac myself sometime, really convinced me.

I snagged my Sea Ghost from a Zodiac/Fossil outlet for a good price awhile back.  It is build like the proverbial brick sh*thouse, you know when you have it on your wrist!

It doesn't get the wrist time it deserves...

Cheers,
Griff
