So I just got my first watch, a Divergraph, with a rubber strap and I wanted to switch the strap out but I don't know how to do it. Do you guys have any tips all I have is an Exacto knife but I'm scared I'll scratch the watch. Should I just take it to a watch store? Thanks guys.

Hi Boat- IMHO the Divergraph is a tricky strap change. Put the Exacto knife away and let a local jeweller change it for you. The Divergraph is a nice watch otherwise. Good luck, Greg

If it's your first take it to a shop and have it done and watch how it's done if you can. That is how I learned. ;)

why would you even think about using a exacto knife anyways???? face4.gif...that rubber strap on the Dievas is a custom made strap for the watch and looks perfect imho hand6.gif

I searched "how to remove a watch band" and someone said they use an exacto to do it so I just figured I didn't attempt anything.

Boat- The custom-made strap features steel locating studs which mate to drilled holes in the watch case. This allows a tight fit w/ the oem strap but severely limits aftermarket options. A small design flaw in an otherwise fine quartz tritium chrono. Regards, Greg

As much as I like the rubber strap I knew it would look awesome on a lowlight 4 ring Zulu:![]() I just used my usual strap changing tool with no scratches. Took longer than a regular changeout though! Cheers, Griff
