3Ters,

I would like to know more about the O&W watches offered on E*** by a reputable seller. Are these vintage watches? New watches? What is the status of O&W and quality.

Because some are totally awesome, and I am tempted everyday to bid, but just don't know about the O&W brand.

Can some of you please offer some insight?

Thanks
Angelo

O&W make great watches at reasonable prices....some are made from vintage Breitling parts and I would reccomend Howard at westcoatime for any O&W watch....there is a link to his site on the 3T sideboard....if you use the search engine on 3T you will find @ 20 pages of info and pics of O&W hand6.gif

By all accounts a solid and affordable brand popular in the late 50's and early 60's though the current brand is rather recently resurrected I think after shutting down  in the 80's... I think. A link to the seller of item might enable us to give you more info on the age of the items.:D

I second that.  The very first watch I bought from Anders 4 years ago was an O&W MP2824 which continues to serve me faithfully today.  Fair share of dings and dents though.

Who is Anders? Do you have seller ID or website?

Thanks guys! Some of the O&W chronos look so beefy and vintage, they are cool.

Left side of the forum you will see a banner for Dievas. This is Anders. There should be a link there to his retail site of Gnomon watches. If not just use this:

http://www.gnomonwatches.com/

You'll always do well to check the frineds of 3T.smile8.gif

My brother in Texas has an O&W and he has been happy with it. Gives good value and has a good history too. I almost bought one about 4 years ago but I ended up getting something else, not related to watches.
