I am new to watch collecting. Is their a big difference between the ETA 2824 and the Miyota 8215. The only difference I can see is the the ETA is always alot more money and is usually swiss made. I have seen a lot of cool dive watches in the $300 dollar range with the Miyota and when I see something similar with the ETA it is in the $500 range. Just wondering if its worth it to save my money for the ETA movement? |

Try using the forum search or your favorite search engine for this. One of the most often asked questions for years! ;) Myself I love Miyota but will take a Eta over one any day of the week. |

It is a good idea to search the forum beofre asking but for you convenience I'll just give some major points.:D ETA = Swiss, hacking, handwinding Miyota = Japanese, non-hacking and only some models handwind Both a proven winners! yourock.gif I personally want an ETA movement over a Miyota but there are some great watches using Miyota movements. |
