WOW...

This is not the sort of thing that happens
everyday.

A client of mine from work, was
interested in my Benrus 3 Star watch.
We went for a short walk and grabbed
a cup of java.

He was willing to buy the watch from
me to add to his collection.
We discussed about it in short detail.

In the end he wound up with the watch
and I'm $275 richer.

Not bad for a watch I paid  $20 for.

I have my sights fixed on a
1965 Movado Sub Sea Tempo-Matic Caliber 608.
17 Jewels with date calender.
Case Size is 34 mm X 41 mm in length.
The price:  $185

To Be Continued...

Cheers,
Simon

Here is the newly arrived
Movado Tempo-Matic Caliber 608.

This self-winder is an early model
that dates to about 1964 and it's
the rare 17 Jewel ETA 2472 movement.

The later models of this watch had
the 25 Jewel movement,that  was
shared by the Rolex Tudor of the
same period.

Cheers,
Simon

Thanks Tony.

The Movado Sub Sea Tempo-Matic
is identical in size to the Omega Seamaster
Deville from the same era.

Good news,

There maybe a 25 Jewel version
of the same Movado,in the near
future.

I'm stoked if that's the case,
that means I own both versions...
