My firends Mum received this watch many years ago for a 21st Birthday pressie.
She  has always believed it to be a  Rolex, I am not sure due to the face having no markings and the crown looks to be oversized.
Can anyone confirm?

Tudor perhaps, too. Is that a sandwich dial? You might wanna open it up and see what's inside.;)

Any serial numbers between the Lugs?

What is the diameter of this?

it just looks like someone put a Rolex crown on a watch...pretty obvious that crown doesn't belong there face4.gif...a Rolex 1803 would be their Presidential model hand6.gif

Russel, I don't know what the watch is but is not a Rolex. Profile, markings, style are not Rolex heritage nor tradition. Just venturing a guess, it could be a Lindauer, Waltham or an Elgin. ;)

I have to agree that it's probably not a Rolex. That bracelet looks like an old scissors-style expansion bracelet, and I don't believe Rolex ever provided anything like that.
