Blue and Green Orsa Monstrum FS on WUS.  Actually all five models, I don't know if seller would consider selling separately but the blue and green are hard to find so...

It's cool he has all 5 for sale but at $300 each it may be a little high being that these are selling for $190 to $225

To me, everything is negotiable so if anybody is interested, they can make an offer... hand6.gif

I hear you Nick, and also agree that the asking price is a bit high but the reason why  I posted it is that when i was looking for a blue one,  personally, I was ready to pay that kind of money to get one in mint condition, now, this is me.  I don't know what  the condition of these are but again, when you really want something... Maybe someone is looking for one of these and will be happy to get in contact with the seller to negotiate and in a few weeks from now,  if he has not sold one, he might be more flexible on price and the buyer could end up with a good deal, who knows!!!  The value stands in the eye of the beholder my friend! :D (don't know if my sentence make sense in English, but I hope you understand what i mean).  I know I would not pay $300 for a yellow or Orange one...

What a dick!! He attempted to post these in the Orsa forum and I deleted it as he was schilling and knew it. He also does have the requisite post count to use our sales forum. But yes O, this douche is buying using the 3T discount and attempting to sell at well over that price.

I have no problem with anyone making a little profit but I wasn't aware that the Monstrums had reached any kind of collectibility status like the Sea Anglers or Prodivers have in the past....hey good luck to him but I think most WIS are a bit WISer.;)

Well, I'm down to my a$$... Wow, I feel like I brought the worst virus into 3T.  I had no idea that this would get to that level of language and that this guy was such a problem .  My apologies for that !  I really made a mistake I think...:(

Oscar, I'm sorry but when you say that WIS are wiser, I do not consider myself as "STUPID"...  The blue dial was my favorite one and I always liked it and since it was not easy to get , I would have paid the $300 to get the watch I wanted.  To me, the blue Monstrum is a collector's item and I like it and that's my personal taste for my personal collection and the reason behind this post.  Can you really say I'm wrong???  I buy watches that I like and I buy watches I can afford. ;)

I'm sorry again if I brought the plague to 3T but that was unintentional.  Like I said before, I thought someone could be happy to know that the two hardest colors to find, are available and I never felt so bad trying to help... Mea Culpa!!!

Dan no one suggested you were stupid???....my comment that most WIS are wiser means that most WIS research and follow certain watches and can determine what would be fair based on that research when something they want pops up much as you did when looking for the Blue Monstrum. The Monstrums sold for $295. + Shipping when they were 1st released with free shipping for members....this would be considered important info. ;)

The blue dial was the 1st in the series and sold out quickly so $300. is not unreasonable for that watch on it's own in todays market imo...same with the 3T green. The Monstrum was also released in Jun. 07' and talk about the project started in late 06' so the Monstrum to those of us who have been members for a while now it is not a big deal...not saying it is not a awesome watch but that it is pretty much old hat...same goes for the Seiko Monster which most of us have owned since it's release in 02'-03' ....been there and done that...it all just gets kinda old.  hand6.gif

...the $225. members price was only for existing creamsicle,blk/orange and blk./yellow dials and was a awesome gesture on the part of Berg!...all of this info is available in the Orsa section or by just using the 3T search engine.I would think someone wanting to sell a package of 5 Monstrums would adjust pricing to be more inviting and also list them individually by color for what he would take for each if they were to be sold seperately....$1500. is a big chunk of change ....this way no one would be making assumptions like we are doing here. :D

Daniel don't sweat it. No one is angry at you for anything.:D Perhaps I spoke to basely, but it bothers me to have a member (marginal participation) who is a member only to get a preferred price on an item only to try and profit from it. If the market supports it so be it. You are right... many times there is a person who simply must have a watch and is willing to pay a premium for the piece!;)

I understand what you're saying Oscar.  And yes I felt my feelings were hurt a bit, snif ! :D  And also being new at collecting watches, you have to understand that three years ago, when I saw that watch for the first time, I had so many other watches I wanted :D That's why I find it interesting to buy used watches that were own by collectors.  It was the same when I bought the Barracuda...   I personally don't care about asking price when I see a used watch in a used watch forum, I know what I'm ready to pay and I make offers, if it works, fine.  If not, well, I pass to the next watch or next opportunity... I'm sure I'm not the only one like that and like I pointed out in my Title, "Blue and Green Monstrum",  I personally don't care about the other colors and these are the two that have the biggest value IMO.

I can say that the advertising done by the seller is very bad and like you said, everybody has to do his research.  If someone is ready to pay $300 for the orange dial...well too bad for him... But if the green and the blue are in mint condition, it can be an opportunity for somebody and I don't think that it's a rip off...   That's my point of view and that's why I'm so surprised to see you guys reactions.   Anyway, it made some action and I want to say again that I did not have any bad intentions, dealing for the best price is what I do all day and it's natural for me, it might not be for everyone.
