Does anyone know what the "Force" meter is for?

I believe the "Force" meter is just a numerical representation of the Power Reserve which is shown with the colors of the Italian Flag on the other side of the indicator.

I'm seeing 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 gradations showing on the "Force" dial (and since I don't see any reference to the Jedi Council on this particular piece, I'm going with my first guess on this one).

that might be correct, but would seem like a waste in some ways of the dial usage. I am not complaining, just wondering the point of having power reserve written and Force.

Cool looking Oris. Does the Italian flag somehow work with the power reserve/force meter?

the color wheel coincides with the Power/Force left to power the watch....right now it is at 1/2 force and the white of the flags color is predominant...when at full force/power the wheel should be all green and when at it's lowest or no force/power left it will be red....hand6.gif

Just a guess on my part Mark, but I think Oris has tied in the colors of the Italian flag with the power reserve in the sense that Green is full power reserve and Red is low power reserve.

...it seems like that dial has redundancy by design though since it has both the "color" indicator and the "numerical" indicator on the force part of the meter.

This is how I'm interpreting it at this point...I could be completely wrong...cat28.gif
