I often felt that Tudor should have given a choice
for the watch buyer, between the Manual Wind Monte Carlo
Chronograph and the Automatic Tiger Chronograph.

Unlike the original Monte Carlo, this version offers a
rotating bezel,a real added bonus in my opinion.

That said,I do prefer this watch for it's clean dial.

Cheers,
Simon

This watch looks good and the hour indeces are a great way of amplifying the Tudor logo in a discrete manner.

The bottom half of the dial looks comparatively "bare" IMHO, but it is a cracking watch! Cool gray sub-dials (or is it my monitor, or just wishful thinking wowzer.gif) and Tudor is really getting its game on with the latest variants in the range. A fave in their new range is the Grantour - but I WISH it was 44mm, and not the smaller size.

I suggest this new Heritage chrono is a modern interpretation of the old Tudor Monte Carlo Oyster date "Home Plate"  - itself a rare old bird which regularly sells for north of $15K USD for a good one. Manufacturers - notably Omega (Ploprof), TAG (McQueen re-issue) and many other "re-issuers" are really harking back to times when they HAD a direction and a style that was all their own. I like it - sorta puts the old classics back into the "attainable" and "warranteed" range, and yet still doesn't make those who paid fortunes for their old classics, feel hard done by.

BRP - gotta agree - there is kudos in the name and this is probably a good way of amplifying it!

ANOTHER one I want! mistake.gif

Cheers all - IanM

Great video, which I've forgot to mention in my earlier
post. Creedence Clearwater Revival and a Porsche 908 are
very iconic for promoting a watch that stood in the shadows
of the Rolex Daytona.

This has moved into my top three of most wanted but will it be sold in the states? From what i understand it is only being released overseas. Can anyone confirm this? I sure hope i am wrong!
