9 out of 10, I get my watches from the ADs because I always check the merchandise first before I tie the knot. This is a habit. For the very few times I get from the web, I check about 3 times a day.

For buckles, straps, spare parts, I check maybe once in 2 to 3 days.

does checking numerous times after you are given the date the watch will arrive make it arrive any faster?dog smile.gif

same here though I usually don't check day1.

I ordered a Bali Hai from Chris Saturday, it shipped yesterday and must admit I Checked the USPS site twice already:) I am so psyched about this one;)

Woah! Since nothing  I buy is local... 

I wait until I see that the shipper has lodged it with their post office or the courier and porovides me with evidence, then I sit on my hands for about 14 days.

Usually it is like - " Don't look, no - don't look, oh bugger, OK, don't look - just be patient  - no. really, don't look..  it will get here... what if it doesn't get here... OH - here it is!!!"

I have a ritual though - I contact the courier or follow the shipping very closely after the 14 days, and usually the item arrives the day after I start to fret... Haven't had a non-delivery in many years. Touch wood.

No option - Perth is a long way from anywhere else...
