Molina pocket watches are good, do not under rate them. They can be obtained very cheap but you can by vintages from the 60's etc so they last. My Dad has a few and also a few RAKETA pocket watches, he loves them and will hand them down to me. They have hand painted covers of scenic woodland and other things. Worth a look. I know the question is old but I'd like to throw in my suggestion...the Orient Pocketwatch. Nice piece and it's brand new so I think it would make a perfect heirloom for the future (even has a display back and a power reserve ( which makes sense on a hand cranker)).
