Last week, I sold my BNIB Invicta Pro Diver (which had around 2 minutes of wrist time and stayed in the box after that). Just before closing the deal, I got the question: "Are sure it is an original one and not a fake?" My instant answer was: "Do not think anyone would think about making a fake Invicta". Then I smoothed it out saying I got it from Amazon, and they would guarantee its "legitimacy". Reminded me one of the nominees in a Mad magazine list of underachievers: "A Timex counterfeiter" |

LOL, that's quite funny! A while ago I got an unsolicited email from one of the fake watch dealers. It listed a whole lot of brands, including Invicta! Whether they actually fake them is anybody's guess. Maybe they just buy the originals and resell them...... |

Hahaha to both My own story was one evening about 4 years ago in Nanking Road at the Bund area in Shanghai. These guys were peddling all sorts of fakes hidden inside their trenchcoats. Almost all prices of the fakes were the same except for a Patek Philippe which looked like an IWC Mark XIV, which was priced about 25% higher. I asked the guy why it was higher when it was as fake as the rest---and with a look of shock on his face he replied: "because it's Patek". |

I'm guessing your odds of getting a defective replica Invicta are lower than getting a defective genuine Invicta! |

There are folks who will attempt to fake anything just to say they did it or work up to faking something bigger. Nothing in the replica watch arena surprises me anymore. |

Maybe he's still a little over-cautious after being duped into buying those fake cubic zirconias.... |

BWAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My second thought was BWAAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHA!! OH MAN!! That is RICH! Ive got a victa on the bay right now that all I wanted was to sell it for 30 bucks as a beater. i didnt mention anything about the missing yellow glass symbol on the crown as, well. I really didnt care so much for this watch. just a beater, but apparently when I posted it in response to an answer i offended people because of its 'uniqueness" my bad for ommitting things, but Unique? Unique to invicta means they only made 5000 copies of that particular model. "DO YOU GUARANTEE ITS AUTHENTICITY?" "Yes, I Guarantee that I am selling a piece of metal poop. One Hundred percent real." |
