Hi there.

Just wondering about ARTEGO  Divers.. Anybody have one? If so care to toss a little info out there? I have seen the blue for sale. On the website it looks deep but on the ones I have seen for sale they almost look baby blue.. Yuk! imop. They seam to be of a unique design, not your every day diver look. Any way.. Just looking for some personal opinions about the watch.

Thanks.

I noticed in the link you provided that the blue dial was pictured only. I guess the main reason for my post was to see if there was anybody out there that owned the orange or black dials. It would be nice to see some good pictures of those.

Give it time. Folks like to post up pics when they get new watches and I bet others will jump on these soon enough. I'm tempted myself.

I know that 3T Time has a search option, sorry to say that it hangs on me most of the time, maybe it's my PC I don't. I have seen the banner and I have been to the ARTEGO website (Nice site by the way). I was just looking for some pics of the watch in orange and black. I have seen plenty of pics of the blue dial. When I say pics I'm referring to real pics of the watch, ya know? Not Website photos. I almost bought the blue one until I saw it for sale someplace and it looked baby blue to me, not to my liking. I'm not a wealthy guy so when I intend on making a watch purchase I like to see photos of the actual watch from people that own them. I read your review (nice review by they way) and saw the pics you posted and I love the case design as it seams most divers cases today are starting to look the same to me. I just wanted to see if anybody owned the watch in any other colors. I did not mean to offend anybody, if you like please delete my post and I will just follow the one you posted on Fri Apr 30th, 2010 08:22 am.

1mowatch, the Artego diver is a relatively new release and is just starting to attract attention on this forum as well as some 2 others. Reviews are generally ok and time will tell how this line pans out. A few new owners say it is hefty and has good build-quality and that lume is way up there. Not many are attracted to the blue hue used but I guess the market will eventually make its vote.

I get your point on the design---like most divers today appearing to be the same, but I guess this is a tried and tested design profile and maybe is based on Artego's market tests. Maybe to Artego, this looks like a design that many potential custies will go for.

I have some divers and somehow I never tire of this profile. I think I can say this is a classic design with some small modifications though.ThumbsUp02.gif

I think it's a cool looking diver. Love the case.
Anyway I got two on the way, blue and black as I couldn't decide. so I'll tell you more in a few days. Once I see them side by side illl have to decide which to keep :)
In the meantime there are pics and reviews of the black model on another forum.

I like the design too...IMO it's hard for someone to come up with something totally different...how many different variations can you have of a watch, something new will most likely always look like something that is already out there.

The only thing that turns me off about the Artego divers is the chapter ring. IMO, they really should have left the numbers off.

Ya know what clouser..
Come to think about it I like unmarked chapter rings as well as long as they are the same color as the dial. But I still like the case design. Still looking for some real world pics of the orange dial.. I have seen the black and it looks cool..

I'm with you on that one. I could never understand why so many people loved cushion cases until I got my 6309. I just flat out looks cool, and the fit is spot on.
